We shouldnt shoot down any missile unless it becomes a threat to America. Canada isnt an ally.
To: quidnunc
Ottawa Canada's announcement that it won't join the U.S. missile shield provoked an immediate warning that it has relinquished sovereignty over its airspace.
From now on, the U.S. government will control any decision to fire at incoming missiles over Canadian territory, declared the top U.S. envoy to Canada.
--> WOW, they gave us the airspace without even firing one missile or pen stroke! CANADIANS ARE EASY!

Yeah right, we'll tell you where the pieces are going to land.

all the more reason why Martin has to go. If Canada will not do its part to secure the continent then the US will have to do it itself, even if it means trampleing over the soverign rights of Canada.
Times like these when I question weather or not I want to stay a Canadian.

Martin said he would expect to be consulted on what to do about any missile passing over Canada. Yeah, we will, but the interceptor will be airborne. Just a courtesy call.

Just contrast our envoys response to what would have
been forth coming under the previous administration.
The next four years are going to be VERY interesting.
All those folks that were kicking sand in the face of
bill clinton at the beach, are getting a hard lesson
from the new teacher on the block.

Look, it's allright by me if Canadian sovereignty ends at the line between the dirt and the sky. Like, it's their right to decide that.
Just so long as they restrict themselves to the dirt anyway.

CRAZY CANADIANS - ping.
(And we wonder where they got the logic to grant special law applicable only to Muslims in Canada?)

Canada doesn't want our nuclear umbrella nor does it want our anti-missle defense umbrella.

What I take from this: Canada is a little sister. She cannot defend herself. We will decide what is best for her in this situatio, because she will not decide for herself.
Vancouver, Toronto, Winnipeg - their fate in a potential missile attack from x now rests in our hands.

"Martin said he would expect to be consulted on what to do about any missile passing over Canada." Is the bastard really THAT stupid?
Are we permitted to put a GPS/Pager device up his ass so we can find him quickly?
Canada is leaderless. Has Canada been reduced to the lowest common denominator?
