Lots of people were wondering about PD when his magnificent 'Manifesto of Pukin Dog' was recently resurrected. He asked me to post this, so I am. :-) [and I put it in as a VANITY, not Breaking News!] LOL

What, a third-party opus?
and my need to humble myself.
Don't do it!
The whole humble thing is WAY over rated.

God Bless, Pukin. Hang in there.

I wont return to Free Republic until I can write something without the need to win the argument, slap someone else down, insult someone, or generally behave like an a-hole. Man, there'd be crickets chirping around here if everyone felt that way.

Did I misunderstand? I thought Pukin was flying F-16s in the USAF Reserves or Guard.

So this is an Opus repost?
Just curious because of the bit about the fighters.
I assume he flew F-14's, that fighter was mentioned.
Then he says, "You fly a pretty jet, but fighters should be mean and ugly, like me. Stay safe.
Now he is talking about the mighty F-4 'Mac D' Fighter / Bomber - mostly bomber.
Hope all is well with PD.

GREAT to hear that PD is still with us--kind of.
Hey, it takes a little bit from everyone, and I was glad he was "on the team".

Man, the root of depression is self-pity - PD does not strike me as that kind of guy. Whenever I feel a little down I pull out the Book and re read Ecclesiastes; now there was a guy (most say it was written by Solomon) who had it all and still got depressed.
The Injustice of Life
16 ¶ And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
7 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
22 Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?

I was thinking about you the other day. I sort of thought you found your honey....don't give up hope. A guy with your sense of humor, has to be to much fun. Seriously, I pray that you find joy even in the tears. Hey, at least you know if it hurts your still alive. I am so glad you posted about the fish...I was going to ask anyway. Martha
