I said it was a sad story. One that probably did not have to happen. I do feel much empathy for the son and unborn baby. If only their mother had made better choices.....we would not be here right now.
I have just seen too many mothers drag man after man into the house, have kid after kid, with different men.....I am just tired of women sacrificing their children on an alter of lust.....
Once more, with feeling.
These wrenching, sickening stories are coming too fast, too furious and too often.
I think Yellowdog was just trying to make sense of it all...and perhaps even wondering if these horrible murders could have been avoided...with better judgement.
When women are capable of raising children without men, are they then deciding their sons and daughters do not need fathers? If that is the case then perhaps they are wrong and even selfish.
Ms. Underwood sounds as if she was a wonderful mother and a caring human being and I question why she did not see the need for the same characteristics in a father for her children?
Oh my word, this is the moms fault? You are obviously a womem hater to think something so rediculous!!!!!!

The facts aren't in and we shouldn't assume she was another Amber Frey. For all we know, she could have had a dishonorable husband who left the family, and the killer could have been the first man she dated. Many single moms date "man after man" because men use them and have no intention of being "daddy."
I see it all the time. Maybe some people don't understand the responsibility that comes with having children.
How in the hell is this mother to blame for what happened to her? She raised one son, she was a co-owner in a business, she owned her own home, she own a SUV.
Everyone loved her and her son or did you not read thge article?
amen... and i don't have ice in my veins... i knew you would be accused of being insensitive... but no matter, i agree with you... while i feel awful for the mother, i am devastated for her son and daughter... did you see the picture of her beautiful boy? i am surrounded by women who make bad choices for themselves and for the their children as i am a volunteer at a Crisis Pregnancy Center... it's too bad we aren't allowed to point out their mistakes without offending others... for some reason, people want to see it as our saying the mother deserved it or something... which i know is not what you are saying... and neither am i...
a woman in our small town was killed by her husband the day after Christmas... he was a disgusting brute, yet after being separated for six months, she just had to give him one more chance... now their three children have no father and no mother...
