Sixth Circuit Court Judge George Greer ruled late Monday afternoon that George Felos and Michael Schiavo cannot implement their stated plan to withdraw the gastric feeding tube of Terri Schindler-Schiavo until a hearing is held on Weds, Feb 23 to determine if the stay in effect from Greer's 2000 death order should remain in place while her parents, Mary and Robert Schindler Sr., continue with their legal options in trying to keep her alive.
The Schindlers had hoped to convince the court that starving Terri to death would violate her religious liberties. As a Catholic, the Schindlers contend Terri would not want to have her life ended.
If anyone ever deserved a second chance, it's Terri Schiavo, the central figure in a battle for the rights of the handicapped. She has no idea of the controversy swirling about her, and has been unaware of the fight for her life since she collapsed of a potassium deficiency in 1990. But regardless of the why and how, Terri's collapse starved her brain of oxygen, and she has never been mentally or physically revived past a semi-vegetative state.

Pegita, I have such a difficult time dealing with people who say Terri has no brain. Please pray for me. I am losing patience with them. I think they come here just to aggravate us.
Why do you have to "kill off" this newbie and his "logic" so soon with your facts? Can we like, toy with him/her/it for a little while? You know, Terri has no brain and her soul left her long ago.......???
"If" is the leading word. Listen, these death-culture enthusiasts lie like dogs, number one.
Take the time to read these links about past euthanasia victims, and hopefully you can believe the people who wrote them.
Hugh Finn's wife made herself into a cause because she supposedly did what was good for Hugh, by having him deydrated to death. Funny thing was, two years prior to that she had refused to allow a doctor to repair his shunt, and this representative has made ample points about her changing story. Before Hugh's shunt failed, and she refused to allow it to be repaired, he was speaking.
here is another story with a spouse that lied and changed her story when she decided to kill her husband by dehydration I mean really, the guy is painting pictures and she's in court to have him dehydrated. Meantime, Good Morning America is letting her tell a pack of lies implying he is in a coma.
Michael Martin's lovely, lovely wife
I could go on and on with these things. Even people who are in a coma are not necessarily candidates for euthanasia, but the death-worshippers are anxious to get this stuff past us and accepted so they can get on with the organ harvesting.
this is from FR but the link I posted it from still works and goes back to the medical journal
The bottom lines are, it doesn't matter much about this husband, imo. We should really be going after George Soros, the Godfather of death. And, we need to stop this stuff asap, or soon we will all be allowed to live only by the "virtue" of the courts. We have an out-of-control judiciary which has invented a mythical right to die in our constitution and taken it as far as they possibly can. There is no doubt in my mind they intend to continue.
I work in the medical field and the state already controls far too much of it. Just wait till Hillary gets the next seat in the White House and we'll all be wishing we had been dehydrated to death, in order to miss the onslaught that is coming from her plans for medical care. Socialized medicine is already here, for the most part. She's just going to put the final nails in the coffin.
Where did you post it? I read there opinion before. They wanted a guarantee. Stupid of our side not to lie, I admit.
OH dear Lord, I hadn't read the details of Hugh Finn's story before...I'm so horrified! There is definitely a very evil spirit behind this kind of thing!
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word that encourages us to draw apart when we are weary, that we might be refreshed to minister anew in the tasks put before us. Bless the work of our hearts and our hands as we seek to save the life of this wounded woman, for You teach that as we do it unto the least of these, our brethren, we do it unto You. Encourage our hearts with Terri's words ... "where there's life, there's hope." In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
Maybe we should starve the judge. eh?
I am a Floridian in Washington.
I have done the following to help:
Have contacted every United States Senator.
Have contacted almost all of the Florida legislators.
I have contacted the chambers of commerce in Pinellas, Clearwater, Sarasota and State of Florida letting them know why I will not be coming to Florida it being such a barbaric place I would not like to expose my children to people like that (apologize, I know I'm insulting some of you).
I have contacted all the major theme parks and told them why I would not be bringing my people to Disney, Sea World, Busch Gardens, etc. etc.
I have contacted the resort association for Orlando and told them why we would not be coming.
I gave humbly to Terri's defense fund,
and, I am continuing to pray. If you can think of anything else I can do, please post it shortly.
God bless you.
We've claimed the story in Luke about the woman continually appearing before the Judge, but he kept sending her away without relief. She wouldn't quit ... she demanded justice until he finally relented, not because he thought it the righteous thing to do, but because she was becoming wearisom. That's our prayer for Judge Greer, or any other Judge the Lord would put before us ... one who will vindicate the continual appearing of Terri's mother and father ... they demand justice. And may it be so, Merciful Father, may it be so ... Amen .
We-love-Terri Ping.
Michael: you're a monster and we don't love you.
Christine Busalacchi
Amen.
Sorry, but I don't get this. It may be true that that what is going on with Terry does not meet the Catholic Church's definition of suicide. How does that make state sanctioned murder OK?

I think I've missed this thread...do you know if I pinged you to it today?
