If it functions as the Designer intended, I'd leave it alone. Now, if the Designer would like to use less memory or faster loops, then the parameters have changed and a re-look IS called for.
This is an irrelevant statement. My question was to anyone who had no experience with assembly programming (and preferrably no programming experience whatsoever). I wanted to know if someone with no experience with coding would be able to tell me whether or not I wrote my code well. Trying to springboard this into a discussion of "Design" is fundamentally dishonest of you.

I don't have any experience at coding computer stuff. I doubt if I could tell anything about your work.

Trying to springboard this into a discussion of "Design" is fundamentally dishonest of you. HUH??
YOU are the one who brought this DESIGNED software into question: not me!
It is a conceit of the fragmented modern mind that "only subject matter experts" are qualified to discuss any particular subject matter. In fact, any of us who are familar with logic as it applies to evaluating the internal consistency of truth claims are qualified to discuss the biologists' interpretation of their evidence.
So how can you discuss the biologists' interpretation of their evidence if you don't acutally understand the underlying science behind their interpretation?
(If you're familiar with assembly language -- especially Motorola 68HC11 E9 ASM, then please ignore this and let me know so that I can find something more suitable)

Examine that and tell me if you think that I could have coded it in a more efficient fashion.

"I wanted to know if someone with no experience with coding would be able to tell me whether or not I wrote my code well."If you are a programmer, I'm sure you've been involved in customer testing. So yes, someone with no experience in coding can tell you whether or not you did a good job writing the code.
