Let's just say they don't believe the things Jesus Christ said! Mar 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. This rules out the Theory of Evolution for those believing in Christ.

Not necessarily. Other possibilities exist:

a. Jesus was misheard.

b. Jesus was talking in a way that his contemporary audience would understand.

c. Jesus was heard correctly, but the eventual transcription to the Bible was in error.

d. Jesus was not omniscient (if you believe that Jesus was omniscient it would be interesting to know at what age he acquired this remarkable ability, or did he have it from the moment of conception?)

e. Jesus was talking figuratively (in fact this is definitely so, because God did make Male and Female from the "beginning of creation", he did it at least some days after the beginning).

f. Some other explanation that hasn't occurred to me yet.

With all due respect, this quote of Jesus comes after a question about divorce. The "beginning" being referred to is the beginning of the institution of marriage, when man and women were created, not the beginning of life itself.

It is Orthodox Christianities perspective that the Creator of our marvelous universe is capable of preserving the information He wants His message to be available to all generations. The original documents which were written by the actual person God inspired were perfect.

To be intellectually honest, converting a document to a new language can come with potential problems. However, being that we believe that God has overseen the inspiration as well as preservation of the Word, we are confident that His message is fully recognizable.

The discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls, which have been determined to have been from the time of Jesus Christ, give us evidence of how carefully the copyists transcribed the text over the last 2000 years.

The creation of the world and the creation of man are connected repeatedly throughout scripture:

Isa 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, [even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

Isa 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.

Isa 40:21-22
Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Again, more passages speaking about Adam being created:

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 5:1 This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female,

Deu 4:32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth,

And the myth called Adam lived a specific number of years, then the myth died.

Gen 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

d. Jesus was not omniscient (if you believe that Jesus was omniscient it would be interesting to know at what age he acquired this remarkable ability, or did he have it from the moment of conception?)

NIV 1 Peter 1:17-21
 17.  Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear.
 18.  For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers,
 19.  but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
 20.  He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.
 21.  Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

NIV 1 Corinthians 2:7
No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

NIV 2 Timothy 1:8-10
 8.  So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,
 9.  who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
 10.  but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

NIV Titus 1:1-4
 1.  Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness--
 2.  a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,
 3.  and at his appointed season he brought his word to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,
 4.  To Titus, my true son in our common faith:   Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
