How do you know that he wants his website to be the next FR? He didn't say that. Why not take what he said at face value? He said that he no longer comes here because some FReepers eat their own, and since he's been the target of that devouring, I don't blame him.
You guys have got to be less thin-skinned about his comments if you expect him to be less thin-skinned about yours. If you dish it out you've gotta be able to take it in return.
I'm not being thin skinned, he was crass by dissing us to promote his site. If he really wanted to promote conservative viewpoints, should be glad there are different sites out there. The more there are, the more chance for change we have. He should get over here and explain himself. But, he won't. He wants us to buy a membership to his site. What he did wasn't conservative, it was a play right out of the liberal handbook.
They don't want to hear that.
Look at the scope of this thread. Hyper-sensitive to what Sean says, but Sean is supposed to take it when they go overboard in trashing him.
I've said I thought Sean was off base in making the criticism so general, and very lame to promote his board on the back of criticism of this one. No excuse for that.
But too many are proving they are as thin skinned as they say he is. And they are doing what Sean did, eating our "own".
