Absolutely agree with everything you said. Best comment on the thread.
Probably no one in the history of New York Talk Radio is more associated with controversy than Bob Grant. No station is more associated with a wide variety of opinions than WOR. It's a perfect match. |

Bob Grant brings a history of more than 25 years of exciting talk to WOR. Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride! Life's more interesting that way. Like many of WOR's on air personalities, Bob Grant is a published author. For more information on his book and how to buy it, click on the book cover. Nah, you'll be fine. I sent him one too, I think we all should. He can't just bop us on the head and get away with it!
Well, this is just dumb of him. He could have promoted his own forum without denigrated us. In doing so, he would have avoided alienating people here who listened to him. As far as our "eating our young," FR is one of the more civil forums I've been involved in. Hannity must not get around the cyberworld very much.
I used to listen to Hannity all the time, and I appreciate his plugging away for the President during the election, but his one-note style and evident lightweighteness wears thin after a while. I haven't listened to Hannity since WIND in Chicago changed to talk radio Now I listen to Savage (no flames please -- I just find him interesting.)
LOL
Bye, Labrax2."He's dead, Jim!"
Twernt me!
I listen to Hannity every now and then, not much since every time I tune in he has some miserable liberal that he is "interviewing" and if I want to hear a liberal blather I'll turn on NPR, but this an amazingly stupid thing for him to do.
Bye Sean. I'll turn into Dave Ramsey instead.
We can make our views known about his radio broadcast
by advising him that until he offers an apology or some
plausible explanation we will boycott his FOX appearances.
hannity@foxnews.com Actually, I had grown tired of his
strident and rude interruptions of guests some time ago.
He has what I call the "Chris Matthews disease" --
interrupt, cross-talk, give talking-point speeches under
the guise of posing questions, and reduce what should be
a dialogue into an incoherent babble of two or three
people talking simultaneously. A couple people mentioned
that they watch Savage -- where can he be found? I thought
after he was thrown off MSNBC he went back to California.
If he rants about 'The rape rooms' one more time in response to some lib...
am going to scream.
Makes him sound stupid.
REAL stupid.
The train is going to The City on a Hill.
Don't get stuck standing out on the platform in the rain wondering what happened.
I bookmarked it for later. Thanks!
Good for you! :-)
Hey! Hannity was talking about you today!
Man! What's with Hannity saying this cra*??
Not likely. This is at least the 3rd time in the past couple of years that he's said exactly (almost verbatim) the same thing about FR. A FReeper was banned or suspended about then for some sort of controversy, whereupon she became one of the banned FReepers who frequent extremist fringe website, LP. Apparently she met Hannity in passing and told him of the eeevils of FR and how FR had banned her (whence comes the "eating our own" phrase). Hannity has persistently repeated this accusation ever since, citing as his source his "good friend" the aforementioned lady who was suspended from FR. He appears disinterested in any other perspective.
The lady who was suspended went on to become the campaign spokesperson for a Senatorial candidate that a lot of GOP'ers consider to be "fringe", although he had a vociferous group of supporters on FR.
Hannity's not a bad guy but I'd say his ego is not open to correction.
My dog is even Pi**ed.
I can't listen to Sean Hannity on the radio but I do like him on FoxNews. Hannity and Colmes is awesome! Mark Levin would be a great addition to FoxNews.
Though I'm no fan, I think it's good to keep Greta because she attracts other viewers to Fox. I do think Fox could improve their weekend line-up. Perhaps a weekend version of Hannity and Colmes with weekend hosts.
Who would be a good independent conservative to replace Bill O'Reilly in the NO SPIN ZONE... if he ever quit???
