Marcel-Keyes told the Post her parents have thrown her out of the house, stopped speaking to her and refuse to pay for college because she is gay. She said she loves her parents.
Sadly, this is the proper response--at least at first.
Clearly, this young lady's "coming out" is a cry for attention. This seems to be very common among the children of emminent people today--particularly conservatives. Somewhere in the child's mind, is a festering bitterness toward the absentee parent which manifests itself as a desire on the part of the child to become that which the parent most despises. What better way to get the parent's attention?
Of course, this subconscious desire is fed by a "support network" of deviants which the child can readily meet on any college campus. This group of freaks knows exactly how to feed the bitterness, empathize with the child, and lead them farther into rebellion and degeneracy.
