I remember that time well: my daughter and her family were living in Alexandria, VA. She was a nervous wreck, and so was I, out here in California.
The kids were locked down in school, they were doing the "duck and run" in and out of stores, people were scared to gas up their cars...what a nightmare!
But it was just ONE SNIPER in a city of how many million? That's what freaks me out. It really wouldn't be that hard for the enemy to terrorize the crap out of us without even doing all that much. Look at how much steppin' & fetchin' the anthrax caused.
That would be a nightmare....
