Hopefully someone had a concealed weapon on them to fight back...
Unfortunately this will just give rise to more hysterical 'gun banning' instead of gun proliferating, which would aid in combating crimes like this.
May have to reconsider my 2in Taurus Model 80. Wouldn't have taken on someone with an automatic weapon until I ran out of running space.
