Uh oh, now you've done it. Any single guys still left on this thread are gonna head for New York to see if they can cheer her up.
Seriously, I hope she's OK, she seems like a really nice person.
Oh Geez, now Rita's on the stupid Grammys.

Here is something for you and others to mull over. Some people turn to humor in times of stress as a release mechanism. Sarcasm is another stress reliever. So don't be too harsh and jump to conclusions that those posters are making fun of the dead or wounded, or don't appreciate the severity of the incident.

Oh no, I quite agree! Wasn't disagreeing with you at all.
FR rules! Had this story, and let's face it, it's serious stuff, esp. if you are the guy who got shot!
And humor, humor is always good.

Back in Sept. or Oct. Steve the Weatherguy asked Kirin who she liked for President, and of coarse being a lib she said that she wasn't sure. But she was leaning towards Edwards, because he was the "Hottie".....no kidding. Edwards was the hottie so he got her nod...YIKES

"Rita has a pretty face but she's always seemed kinda fat. Kiran is very, very cute but doesn't she seem a little underfed? I just wish they hadn't lost Jennifer Eccleston. Perhaps they never knew that every time she reported every man within range of a tv would stop what they were doing and watch slack-jawed."
You are like Goldilocks! too bad they got rid of the one you thought was "just right!" Maybe she'll return.
