"Black guys aren't crazy enought to jump from perfectly good aircraft."

Haven't been to Fort Bragg have you.

I know, just goofing around with stereotypes. That was a hilarious SNL "Black History" segment this week. Another one they did was a joke about how black guys hate Direct Deposit!

And of course, as Chris Rock has pointed out, straight black guys do not watch the Oscars.

What the hell is an "assault type rifle"???

I once heard a reporter describe a .22 caliber revolver as a "semi-automatic long rifle."

Reminds me of this story. A guy walked into a Radio Shack in St. Petersburg and shot 3 people, then himself.

Three died altogether, including the gunman.

Of course it would be, but you don't think that the media is going to show real weapons! Looks much better with revolvers against machine guns in the news...And now that the AWB is no more everyone that owns guns has a machine gun....

Gunman Accused in Mall Shooting Arraigned

11 minutes ago U.S. National - AP

By MICHAEL HILL, Associated Press Writer

KINGSTON, N.Y. - A 24-year-old man was arraigned early Monday on assault charges after he allegedly opened fire in a crowded shopping mall, wounding two people and sending shoppers scrambling for safety.

AP Photo

Robert Bonelli was arraigned shortly before 1 a.m. in Ulster Town Court on first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, according to Brian Woltman, a dispatcher for the Town of Ulster Police Department.

Bonelli, of nearby Saugerties, was being held in Ulster County Jail without bail pending a town court appearance on Wednesday, Woltman said.

According to police, Bonelli opened fire with an assault-type rifle Sunday afternoon inside the Best Buy store in the Hudson Valley Mall, just outside Kingston, about 55 miles south of Albany.

After firing several shots, he made is way into the mall corridor and continued shooting until running out of ammunition near the center court, witnesses said. He then laid down the weapon and was tackled by two mall workers, police said.

State police Capt. Wayne Olson said investigators did not know the exact number of shots fired but he said it was a "significant number of rounds."

"It's shocking that it happened," Ulster Town Supervisor Fred Wadnola said. "But I guess that's the way our society is going today."

The wounded included a National Guard recruiter who was in a recruiting booth inside the mall when he was shot. Olson said the 20-year-old recruiter might lose his leg. Hospital officials did not release any information.

The second victim, a 56-year-old man, had superficial gunshot wounds to his left arm, thigh and leg, Olson said. Two other people had bullet holes in their pant legs, Olson said.

"We consider it fortunate that more people were not struck," Olson said. "Sunday afternoon in a crowded mall, it really has all the potential in the world to be a disaster."

Ali Afshar, owner of a mall kiosk, said he saw the shooter being tackled from behind by two men who work at Dick's Sporting Goods. "They hit him and took him to the floor and held him there," Afshar said.

Michael Bovalino, chief executive officer of the mall's parent company, said crisis counselors would be available for mall employees Monday. "Our main concern at this point is the well being of those that were injured," Bovalino said in a statement

From that, I'm thinking this idiot was spraying and praying; good thing he apparently didn't know how to aim. Glad this wasn't much worse than it was, and prayers for the recruiter.

How many uniformed gun nuts and bush league manufacturers does it take to extend an obsoleted cartridge designation forever? Look at the headstamps! Educate yourself.

Why do you attempt to defend and indefensible position rather than become informed? Cartridge designations are established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Please contact them and report back.

Well given the facts, obviously this was not TROP®. However if the initial scenario as reported by the news had proven accurate, ie multiple gunmen with 'machine guns' randomly targeting civilians in the mall, I would stand by my assessment.

***Where did you find 45 ACP ammunition? It hasn't been produced by American ammunition manufacturers since prior to WW2.***

Huh?!?! That's simply absurd.

This is a classic example of people misremembering facts to fit the axes they're grinding.

Join the club...

Not only did Moose at one time state they were looking for white guys...he also said they may be Vietnam vets...or have copies of gun magazines in their possession or subscribe to them..

Moose talked a whole lot of trash was basically an incompetent racist who rose to prominence thanks to affirmative action and not because of his abilities or as Martin Luther King taught 'on the content of his character' (which in Moose's case was more caricature)

Some of the cops who had to work with him even said as much...

Moose had a record of suing 'the job' for 'discrimination' it was his way of compensating for criticisms of incompetence

imo

Yep...and Hutchinson Whampoa and Li Ka-shing...China's Red Billionaire was in the thick of it...and still is...

The weapons destined for Asian Gangs...(and muslim allies?)

As I recall there were also RPGs in the mix and not just select fire AKs...

The Clintonistas...their various investigative allies kept it pretty hush hush...and swept it under the carpet..

Another crime bubba never was taken to task for...by a 'conservative' majority...

imo

FoxNews had a mall employee on yesterday. She stated she witnessed the shooter firing his weapon. It was a handgun.

First it was reported as machine guns. Now it's reported as an assult weapon. If she was correct, the media just looks dumb and dumberer.
