ever hear of midol, tylenol, advil, etc. etc. etc. this is just another excuse for women to take a day off

Bad cases are indeed real. It's usually solvable with hormonal treatment.

A. I think it is silly to have menstrual days.

B. There are those women who have conditions (like endometriosis) where their periods are so bad, they are bed-ridden. The "treatment" is hormones or worse, surgery. Been there, done that, have tremendous sympathy.

C. Just give everyone (men too) a few extra sick days to cover it.

I know two women in our family who are literally bedridden 1 day a month. Sometimes on work days sometimes on the weekend. They use their sick leave for it. Toyota should indicate that's what regular sick leave is for.
