I guess free speech in academia today only applies to those who support terrorists and villify Americans, a la Ward Churchill.

"If he can be silenced, that's going to create self-censorship among other faculty members who won't say anything controversial," he said. "Who's going to lose in all this? The students."

It's unfortunate that telling the truth is considered controversial. Slandering Americans and stating general facts about homosexuals are two very different things.

I have done absolutely nothing wrong," said the professor, Hans Hoppe, a conservative libertarian economist with almost 20 years teaching experience at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Well, which is it? Is he conservative, or is he libertarian? I never see anyone labeled as "liberal libertarian."

When these PC thugs can show me anywhere in the Constitution where they are given the right not to be offended, then I'll reluctantly agree with them.

Until then STFU!

It seems that Free Speech does not include any form of truth or intellectual honesty.

""The charge against professor Hoppe is totally specious and without merit,"

Isn't 'specious' just another word for Bull$hit?
