NASCAR"s biggest event; one because opens up the NASCAR Racing Season, two is one race which will be the Crown Jewel in a driver's portfolio, and third is just one of the few 2.5 miles oval, high speed races, exiting, fun to watch and adrenaline pumping event.

"I just wish NASCAR would make up there mind. I thought we settled this last year by installing scoring loops in the track. The were going to determine the race winner by where they were when they past the last scoring loop when the caution was thrown. I just wish they would show us on TV where these scoring loops are like the do the 1st down marker in the NFL. Michael Waltrip said the next scoring loop after the start-finish line was at the exit of the pits. Well when the caution light came on they were not to that scoring loop. So it seems to me you would score it at the last loop they crossed which was the start-finish line."
Spencer won the race and NASCAR Changed the rules again. They hate Spencer. He was robbed. 350 yards after the accident Helton lets the guy hit the button just as the #4 passes Spencer. The only inch that #4 car lead the whole race.
Spencer starts with no Helmet, smashes on Pitroad, Black Flagged, and RIPPED OFF. How can all that happen in one night?

O.K. if what you say is true how about you and I go head to head in an IROC car and we see what happens.
I'll bet you lose and the cars will be equal.

Any idea what make of car they drive in the IROC?
Hubby says they look like Pontiac Firebirds which are now out of production.
That would explian why the IROC website (just spent ten minutes searching it) carefully avoids any mention of the topic.

I used to watch NASCAR when I was a kid. I was a Cale Yarborough fan. I grew out of it. I guess other adults didn't.

I used to make insulting posts on threads that didn't interest me, I guess I grew out of it.

Sure looks like it up close too. Matt Kenseth has his 2004 IROC car on display at his fan HQ (just outside Cambridge, WI), and there's no manufacturer markings on it either (of course, the back bumper is "just a bit" beat up :-)

If Jimmy had been a favorite driver there would have been another fan incident I'm sure!
