Good even enforcement, NOT. About the fifth time tonight and the first penalty.

The Bailey's truck sure seemed to be running slow, need to back up some and see what preceded that.

One thing about NASCAR. If they don't want you to win, you won't.

the car mostly nailed the rear tire carrier and just got to the catch can guy and when he backed up into his own box the catch can guy ran over and slammed the can on the hood of the truck...

Yep and they really don't like Spencer.
To: Pete-R-Bilt
That was a pretty dumb move to slide through the box like that. I would have clobbered him myself.
It's been an eventful evening. I wonder if the Busch race and the 500 will be the same? I kind of think they will.
Darn it, Park is smoking. I didn't realize he had front end damage. I guess he's done.

Think he was aiming at the windshield.

The new American street cars aren't buildable to where they're fast enough to be worth racing. I remember the 406 Fords and 409 Chevys real well. I remember the "1963 1/2" Ford with the reconfigured roof line for NASCAR. Dan Gurney took a 409 '61 Chevy to England to run the Saloon races against the 3.8 Jag sedans, and blew 'em away. Drag racing used to be "get there first, you win." Now there's not much class racing, it's mostly bracket racing - which is an exhibition of driving skill more than "racing."
