Packin' Heat LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) A police spokeswoman called it "unusual" that a 19-year-old almost smuggled a loaded pistol tucked between his buttocks into a county jail last week. Clifton Alexander Carter was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail (search) last Tuesday after a school resource officer at Central Gwinnett High School recognized him as a suspect wanted in Barrow County. Upon searching him, officers found a loaded .25-caliber handgun hidden in the man's buttocks. There was a bullet in the chamber, sheriff's spokeswoman Stacey Kelley said. "I don't now how he was able to conceal the weapon in that area. It is very unusual," she said. The resource officer called Lawrenceville police and Carter was arrested near the campus. He is not a student at the school. Deputies felt something was amiss during their routine search and performed a strip search, Kelley said. "We are proud that our deputy was diligent in his job and was able to locate the weapon," she said. Carter was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a weapon on a school campus and possession of a weapon by a jail inmate, among other charges. He is being held without bond.

Boy Got Back bump
I went to school with a guy that probably could have hid a blooker in his bum.
CRACK KILLS!
I've always thought these thugs need a swift kick in the butt...
I don't now how he was able to conceal the weapon in that area.

I've heard of a gun butt, but...
Um, no it is not unusual. It is not unusual for them (especially obese people) to conceal weapons in various places. Theyll conceal them in buttocks, under their arms, or under/in rolls of fat.
Theyll put tape on a razor blade, tie it to a piece of dental floss, tie the other end around a tooth, and swallow it to be pulled back up later. Theyll hide various items up their butts. Theyll do a bunch of things.
I guess maybe thats unusual in Lawrenceville, but not anywhere else.
So, who got to clean the gun?
"`scuse me while ah >whoop this out<"
"We are proud that our deputy was diligent in his job and was able to locate the weapon," she said.
*snicker*
Considering where the kid was hiding the weapon...
FRegards,
Hair trigger, no doubt.
I can't find the article online, but it appeared on the front page of Palm Bay Hometown News and was written by Jennifer Stahl. The device is called a "Scanlite" and is manufactured by a Texas firm named Tactical Scanners. It is not yet on the market. The expected cost is $199 and compares well with the price range of $109 to $180 for the usual tactical flashlight when you consider the added feature.
Ah, here is a link about the product, found when I tried to see if Tactical Scanners was publically traded: http://www.tacticalscanner.com/
