To: American Vet Repairman

During the oil embargo of 73, Texas, Florida and other southern states referred to them a "Black Plate" people. Michigan, Penn., and some other states had dark background license plates. There was a big migration south back then.

The Michiganders and Ohioas took I-75 south to St. Pete, New Port Richey, Sarasota, and Clearwater. Sarasota is one of the few places where you can buy Makinac fudge outside of Michigan.
