Scientists say we came from animals. I say animals came from animals. Please spare me the the humans are animals lecture. God created each species complete and seperately. This is what I believe. I do not believe my sainted mother is just as much an animal as the beetle scurrying in my garden. She is a child of God. Scientists can overthink God's great creation all they want. I do notice people on here do really get their beards' in a knot defending evolution, must mean a lot to them.

God created each species complete and seperately.

Do you really meant that? Are you a fixed species creationist? If so, do you also take the story of Noah and the ark seriously? How did Noah get several million species on the ark?

IOW, I'm not sure if you realize, but no modern "professional" creationists hold to a fixed species view. In fact most would be insulted by the assumption that they did. In fact the most conservative creationists ironically invoke the most prodigious and rapid evolution, because they need, in a young earth time frame, to get the millions of species alive today from the ten or twenty thousand "created kinds" that they manage to hypothetically cram into Noah's ark.

What about your mother-in-law? Beetle? Cockroach? Snake?

Actually, we can't defend evolution from your kind of attacks. The attacks have no merit. It is only by repetition of stuff like 24 hr day and the global flood caused all the dino bones to stratify in chronological order that creationist nonsense gets accepted. Along with the peer pressure to believe nonsense under threat of damnation, it would be laughable if it were not such a serious threat to the survival of Christianity.
