All the fans come out to cheer for their star. They don't care whether he raped her or not, only that their man gets away with it. It's a jungle and the predators win until Judgment Day. That is why OJ is playing golf and looking for the real killer ...
No one's a bigger NBA fan than me.
Kobe's an overrated, low self-esteem crybaby.
But, I wouldn't deny him the right to play. He's within the system.
If one doesn't like the system, they should work to change it. They just shouldn't whine when someone who does something one doesn't like operates within the system.
I hate basketball. I can't stand to watch it. And all of their "stars" are a bunch of thugs. I could care less about "heros" or "stars", but I do care about Justice and I hate rape for very, very personal reasons. I would like to see rape be a capital offense because in many ways it is worse than murder.
Because I have such strong feelings about the crime of rape, I also have strong feelings about false accusation of that crime.
Believe me, I want all rapists jailed. Forever. But I also expect and demand that those who call themselves "conservative" deal with facts, and not just "feelings". It is monstrous that there is a presumption of guilt before trial by people on this site. It is also monstrous that those who have read the facts are dismissed as "hero worship" types by those who were convinced of guilt without deeming it important to educate themselves as to the facts of a case.
This woman had sex with a man after she had sex with Kobe Bryant. That fact submarines her entire rape accusation. It is entirely inconsistant with the trauma caused due to a violent act such as rape. It is for that one fact, that she was not raped, that the rape charge was dropped.
