Nonsense. Jacko, like it or not, is a show business legend. Fox News' peak viewership is about 1/30th the sales of Thriller. Fox is #1 -- they would be fools to send viewers to their competitors.
Thanks for getting it.
Funny!
Dear Sir/Madam,
You transmitted for over two long, boring years the Peterson case. It was of no interest to most of us who have a life and a brain. How long, now, are you going to drag out the Jackson case? By the way, in those two years, my TV was mostly off to avoid listening to the latest Lacy and Friends episode.
Since you are not aware, may I point out that the world is a large place full of interesting news stories. Apparently, in the last two years, you had a problem finding them. I would be glad to help you in this area and point these interesting stories out to you several times a day as they develop.
BRAVO!!!!!
No offense to the Pope...but this every 3 minute upate reporting on the Pope being taken to the hospital since yesterday is getting to be old news and annoying...no new updates...just the same over and over ad nausem.
As soon as MJ appears on TV, no matter the network, I turn it to anything else.
For some reason, this freak dosen't grab us. The press is doing their level best to whip it up to be like the O.J. case. Things have changed, and people are bored with it. Will there be riots if he goes to jail? The family wears "white", suggesting purity. They all are a bunch of nuts living off of the "Glove", its sickening. I will write to Fox.
Gee -- What will Greta talk about if she can't rely on freaks who are fighting jail sentencing?
Welcome to 24/7 news, they gotta fill the time with something, and when the news cycle gets slow it's a crime trial. The best solution is to respect the design of the news cycle, you're really only supposed to watch half an hour to an hour, stick with that and you won't see the same story over and over and over until you want to gouge your eyes out with a fork.
Thanks for the laugh - I need a new keyboard anyway.
always happy to ablige a chunga, gotten any revenge lately?
This is what brings ratings in actually...hate to break it to you. I for one am VERY interested to see this trial if televised. I could care less about most of the tabloid trials that have come and gone since OJ. But MJ is for sure going to kill himself or do something spectacular if convicted and I for one...do not want to miss it.
No, I've given that up and joined 'em.
I think there coverage has been fine to this point. But it's not like they can totally cut out there coverage, all the other networks are covering it. FNC just does a better job of covering by not over doing it. That's just my $.02.
FR could set a new standard and NOT discuss the trial when it starts. Just ignore it. I won't be a part of any Michael Jackson trial thread when it starts.
I will watch Court TV the hour the verdict is brought in.
sw
The same goes for Scott, Lacy, Amber and any of the other crimes de jour when they come on. They are nothing but lazy reporting and frivolous programming, appealing to the National Enquirer crowd and soap opera set, not serious people. Any fool of an anchor (Greta fits the description perfectly) can blab on and on about these things and have interminable guests with their own opinions, signifying nothing and solving nothing but filling hours of time.
Life is too short to waste on this kind of TV trash. I would rather look out the front window and watch the grass grow. Besides, I get the pleasure of not having to see Michael Jackson's pitiful face or the same reruns of the same courtroom clips for the thousandth time.
Jackson 24 hours a day is what you will get
What...and do Greta out of a job? Oh, I am so sick of her, and the things she covers, and her voice, and her politics, and her hair, etc. We just turn her off. But, FOX needs to stop this 24-hr Michael Jackson obsession. It is just tooo much.
really? She just celebrated her third year with OTR and imo has done a great job - I'm looking forward to watching her legal analysis for years to come.
