Now, now! We expect you to behave yourself down there.

Seriously, I hope that means he goes to Terri's vigils down in your neck of the woods.

Those pictures of Michael lately show a man that looks very evil. This fight is beginning to wear on him and his buddies.

Schiavo Judge Loses Bid For Chief Judge Post
By The Empire Journal
By a vote of 31-28, the Florida judge which has decreed that Terri Schindler-Schiavo must be starved to death has lost his bid to become chief judge of Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit Court.

George W. Greer who has set the date of March 18 that will allow estranged husband Michael Schiavo to remove Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube, was opposing David A. Demers.

Demers was seeking an unprecedented third two-year term as chief judge of Pinellas-Pasco Counties.

The 59 judges of the judicial circuit voted by secret ballot.

The chief judge of a judicial circuit is responsible for assigning judges to criminal, civil, probate or other courts and for managing the circuit.

As chief judge,. Demers, could remove Greer from the Schiavo case in probate court and reassign another judge to the case. Greer had said if he was elected he will continue handling the Schiavo case.

Greer had stated he was seeking the supervisory position because “there’s some things in the system that need to be tweaked a little bit”.

Judging from the alleged violations of campaign finance laws and election laws, it appears that one of the main things in the Florida court system that needs to be “tweaked” is Greer himself. http://www.theempirejournal.com/02230590_schiavo_judge_tv_commer.htm and http://www.theempirejournal.com/02240541_schiavo_judge_ad_flap_c.htm

Greer has come under intense public scrutiny for his handling of the Schiavo case and the legality of his judgeship has been questioned in that pubic records indicate that he may have signed a false written statement saying that he had qualified for office when he had not filed the proper documents with the Division of Elections within the time frames prescribed by law.

By allegedly failing to qualify for office, Greer could not have legally appeared on the ballot and therefore would not have been legally elected to the judicial position he claims. See http://www.theempirejournal.com/greer_schiavo_articles.htm
