I did it is in a post above.

I'll have to find it. There were three, but the Doug Jones I had above was the most likely. Of the other two, one was a tax attorney and the other lived in Boca Ratan. ExPat was going to call, but will probably have to wait till Monday.

The only thing different is that Doug Jones works for McFarlain & Cassedy ( http://www.mcfarlain.com ),
not MCFARLAND GOULD LYONS SULLIVAN & HOGAN of Clearwater, a company that is a known contributor to Judge Greer.

So I have to correct my post
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1333205/posts?page=4203#4203

It doesn’t look like Doug Jones’ law firm contributed to Judge Greer. They may have been smarter than that.
It was the firm that Floriduh Voter worked for that gave a contribution to Judge Greer.

A Doug Jones of Largo is the President of the Advocacy Group ( http://www.advocacycenter.org/board.html ).

We are trying to track down if it is the same Doug Jones that works for McFarlain & Cassedy (http://www.mcfarlain.com/att_profiles/jones.html)
who “defends physicians, nursing homes and other health care providers in malpractice suits and before state licensing agencies.

No wonder you didn’t find the information ExPat. It was my screw up that took me to the wrong McFarlain, but to an interesting Doug Jones.

But there is something else interesting at this firm, McFarlain & Cassedy.

The founder of the firm is Richard McFarlain and he serves as chairman of the Judicial Qualifications Commission, the entity that investigates complaints against Florida judges, recommending appropriate sanctions, if any, to the Florida Supreme Court. He is a member of the Federal Judicial Nominating Commission and serves as outside Senior General Counsel to the Attorney General of the State of Florida.

There are three Doug Jones in Florida altogether. I listed them in my post above and none listed in Largo. Still trying to find out if the Doug Jones at McFarlain is the same as the Doug Jones, who is President of the Advocacy group, but may have to wait until Monday.
