GWB has pardon power only in federal cases. It's actually in Article II of the Constitution. He has no power to free Terri unless he can find an unconventional way -- think outside the liberal box.

Yeah, the liberal box got us Bill Clinton having INS goons sticking a gun in Elian's face the last time we had this kind of a rights battle down in Florida.

This needs to be resolved in Florida by Florida officials.

This is both a Federal and State matter. The national media have covered this case so it is in the national spotlight and is across state lines. The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, Inc. is involved with the Veteran's Administration. That is Federal. This organization is holding Terri hostage and threatening to follow orders of Michael to starve and dehydrate her to death. This is against the law. This certainly crosses over into Federal matters. You can't dangle this in the national spotlight and expect to just sit back and watch someone be murdered by dehydration/starvation. It's morally wrong and against the law.
