The enemy is within the US Senate and Rush doesn't realize it.

Last year Rush called Bush's amnesty trial ballon "principled". That was a pathetic lockstep reaction and diminished Rush in my eyes. Even Hannity said it was for political reasons.
Anyway, I am not sure that Bush really understands the base on this one. There are many concerns we have which are not being addressed, with national security being top priority. I felt that him and Rove did not understand the base's feeling towards protecting traditional marraige either.
