I am probably close to the same view but completely tired with all of the bashing that seems to accompany the issue. It has taken the President to tee up the issue, something the nay-saying Republicans in Congress have failed to do. They would do well to greet that opportunity and try to craft some answers rather than strangling the debate.

The current situation is untenable, since the law is being scoffed at atrociously. I favor a guest-worker program PLUS proper border control and arrest of ALL illegals outside the guest-worker program.
