"The author explains that the Freemasons have an enormous role in the European Union and, by way of example, says that "the project of the European Constitution has been driven by a Freemason"
Read some Malachi Martin to fill in the gaps ;)
The tiring rantings of the uninformed. Will it never end.

" the project of the European Constitution has been promoted by a Freemason who has excluded mention of the continent's Christian roots and, in addition, has insisted on the
inclusion of an article that subjects the Churches to the different nations but frees "philosophical organizations"
from that obligation."
Philosophical organizations like the UN NGOs perhaps?
The European Constitution subjects the Churches to it's authority but not the population control gang ?

Why am I NOT surprised?
Check out the home page for ZENIT.
"ZENIT - The World Seen From Rome"
It's a CATHOLIC organization bad mouthing the Protestants, again. The Masons don't bad mouth the Knights of Columbus or make up such ridiculous lies but these Catholics go all out. Perhaps they should try reading their Bibles and "stop bearing false witness" about others who DO good thing and don't molest kids etc. etc..
Man..............Everything this author doesn't know about Masons would fill one h*ll of a large book!
Give it a rest and go back to blaming Bush for everything.......will ya?
!!!
Well, I was raised Catholic and these morons certainly don't speak for me (But Protestants are still a buncha heathens :-))
I am a Master Mason in the Blue Lodge and my wife is a member in good standing of the Order of the Eastern Star (sort of a wives auxiliary to the Masonic Order). (NOTE: We have both resigned from the groups)
Through constant prayer and dedicated reading on the subject I have reached an inescapable conclusion that I have been deceived by the Father of Lies and I renounce the precepts of Masonry forever. I cannot in good conscience be a professing Christian and have my Lord Jesus Christ as Sovereign in my life and remain a Mason.
At the time I took the Masonic degrees and instructions I was at a point in my life when I was running from God. Therefore I didn't analyze too closely the absolutely PAGAN oaths I took and swore to uphold.
I have met many professing Christians in the Lodges and can only conclude that they, as well as those "famous and famously good people" and the Founding fathers who also professed Masonry were as I was victim of the Father of Lies, who's pretty good at his job.
My reasons for this action are on one level open to examination in the precepts of the craft. However, on a far deeper level my reasons are too personal and wounding for me to discuss them in public. I could not have been this objective and certain had I not undergone the instruction, memory work and the rituals of the three degrees to that of Master Mason.
Resources (partial list) that I can now validate as being instrumental in my decision as well as my discussions with the Lord are as follows and I highly recommend them:
"Fast Facts On False Teachings" by Ron Carlson and Ed Decker AND "Hope of the Wicked" by Ted Flynn. Both are available on amazon.com.
One of the reasons I stopped attending my Lodge is the sudden influx right after 911 of middle easterners into the membership rolls. All that is required to join the Blue Lodge (lowest level of masonry) is a belief in a higher power. Allah is perfectly acceptable. Remember that Allah is just not another name for god. Allah is the name of another god. Islam is at the root of the highest levels of Free Masonry, the Shriners. How is that possible? See they give the equivalent of a MILLION DOLLARS a day to charity! They wear those funny little fezzes (red caps with a tassel) and drive funny little cars in those big parades.
I'm going to quote from a Christian book: "Fast Facts on False Teachings" by Ron Carlson and Ed Decker, QUOTE BEGINS:
"The Fez itself is an example of the double meaning behind most of freemasonry's facade. Worn by every Shriner and even carried to the grave with pompous dignity, the history of the fez is both barbaric and anti-Christian. In the early eighth century, Muslim hordes overran the Moroccan city of Fez shouting 'There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet.' There they butchered the Christian community. These men women and children were slain because of their belief in Christ, all in the name of Allah, the same demon god to whom every shriner must bow in worship, with hands tied behind his back, proclaiming him the god of his fathers in the Shrine of initiation, at the altar of Obligation.
During the butchering of the people of Fez, the streets literally ran red with the blood of the martyred Christians. The Muslim murderers dipped their caps in the blood of their victims as a testimony to Allah. These bloodstained caps eventually were called fezzes and became a badge of honor for those who killed a Christian. The Shriners wear wear the same red fez today, with the Islamic sword and crescent encrusted with jewels on the front." UNQUOTE
If you have ever seen the emblem on a Shriners car, it is the Muslim Sword called a SCIMITAR and a star above it. I don't understand how a professing Christian can take and hold the blood oaths that they do....but then I did the same thing, until I was led by the Lord to study and research (I found the above quoted book as part of my research) and discovered I had allied myself (as has my Father-in-Law as a 32nd Level Mason) with the very root of all evil.
As far as this article goes, it's just a little bit off. Free Masonry dates back to the time of King Solomon, with the modern ideology around the time of the American Revolution. Although seven of the Founding Fathers were Masons, several of these later renounced the craft.
The secret group dedicated to global anarchy known as The Illuminati was founded by Adam Weishaupt in May of 1775. It spread like a cancer across Europe mostly via the French Free Masons. Although the Illuminati eventually died from the scene, their legend lives on.....and it has taken root in other secret societies.....
