The California that gave us Ronald Reagan and Prop. 13 no longer exists.

But even with 15 million conservatives we STILL couldn't get Botox Boxer out of office! But you point is a good one nonetheless!

Flyover country starts about 10 miles in from the coast folks. Don't let the steaming piles of liberals along the water taint the reputations of the sane among us.

Weakling Girly Boy go cry to your Momma, if you can't deliver the electoral votes your numbers mean squat.
The weirdness that oozes out of that State ruining Oregon first then Washington and my memories of being forced to live in California for 15 years are more than enough reason for me to never return or miss you when you are gone.
To: Bob J
Texan conservatives are more likely to live as a culture where continuity rather than numbers will be the driving strength.
In any case, if hate is deforming, respect is beautiful.

Ease up tiger - the Cali bashing is meant for the blue precincts of Hollyweirdos and berkley socialists - please don't take it personally. We know there are good conservatives there. And I'm expecting Cali to go Red in 08!

Conservative Totals / Total State Population
California - 14.9 / 35.5 = 41.9%
Texas - 12.7 / 22.1 = 57.5%
Florida - 8.3 / 17.0 = 48.8%
All it means is that you're a huge minority...one that would actually be able to influence policy if you were in any other state.

If we took away voter fraud the numbers would be much higher.

Still not gonna live there. Ever. If there are 15 million conservatives, then there are 25 million liberals.

Believe it or not, I'm schoolin' at UC Berkeley right now, right in the heart of the lefty movement.
Sad, yes. Do I care? No!
Personally, I feel that anyone who can't live in a city, state, etc. just because of its political leanings is weak. You can't truly believe in something unless you can defend your opinion. True, living among conservatives sounds nice, but I'll stick to my diversity of thought, thank you very much.
I mean, where else can I learn how to debate than amongst a whole bunch of liberals? Hell, all this debate helps me on FR, too! :)

Being from Maryland I can relate to you regarding having your state trashed. Even though our states went blue, we can certainly take comfort in the fact that we are among the millions who gave G.W. a good margin of victory in the popular vote.

Interesting........ lets see
14.9 million vs. 33.8 million pop = 44%
12.7 million vs. 20.8 million pop = 60%
8.3 million vs. 15.9 million pop = 52%
Okay gotcha now.....
