It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
The description is.
Iraqi women attend to vote at a polling station during their country's elections in Tehran, Iran, Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005. Iraqi expatriates are permitted to cast ballots in 14 countries across the world, but the voting in Iran holds special significance. Many of Iraq (news - web sites)'s Arab neighbors are concerned that the country's Shiite Muslim majority, long suppressed under the rule of Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), will vote in a government that will strengthen ties with the Shiite clerics ruling Iran. I saw it!! It was awesome!
LOL.......I saw that interview with Bill and he is usually very polite even when arguing but when he said that I too was flabbergasted.....he hit Alan right between the eyes....it was soooooooo cool. When Bill Bennett gets riled up you know the sh** is hitting the fan
And that's what makes it SO galling that Meet The Press is devoting a full hour to Kerry. He deserves to be thrown on Bush's "dustheap of history" and left there!! Alawi, on the otherhand, might well become a man history will honor highly. Along with our beloved President.
Return of the Jedi?
During the time that Kerry was insulting Allawi, Biden was pulling Allawi aside and telling him that when Kerry is elected, he (Biden-future Sec. of State) would see that Iraq gets all of the help it needs (wink, wink). bleck!!!!
Aren't we glad that ole chia pet Biden is NOT Sec. of State?
We went to Mass tonight and I prayed for Iraq and our troops.
I have another window open looking at the photos from around the world of Iraqis voting. I have goosebumps and teary eyes.
Why comical?
Marines wave and shout words of encouragement * to another convoy of U.S. troops as it passes their position in an area south of Baghdad.

That Meet the Press is having the losing presidential candidate for a full hour tomorrow, of all days, is such an insult to our soldiers and to the Iraqi people.
Kerry hasn't done his job in the Senate. He lost the presidential race nearly THREE MONTHS AGO!
Stinkin' Russert.
The MSM and DEMS are getting nailed right now on FOX. LOL
Oh, GOOD for Bill Bennett!
Allawi sure as hell is!
CNN has their bagcam up. Someone else has probably already noted that, but what a start as it reminded me so much of the war.
Hey, that's Baghdad Bob in disguise!
Yeah! ;-D
I think he's still sore the Bills missed the playoffs again.
The yearning for freedom in the human heart is a divine spark that no fascist government or perverted religion can crush.
I would so love for one of those stage light bulbs to pop while they're on the air with Kerry.
Surely JFK would stop the interview to fill out the Purple Heart paperwork.
I missed the hiding part...that must have been the one night I was actually out, lol.
That makes me laugh, too, about his 1,2,3; and I'm smiling as I remember his constant primping, not realizing we were watching, live....
