It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
Agreed.
I'm getting punchy, we drove for 8 hours today. :^P
How do you say "back off, you fat tard" in Arabic ?
lol
Thank you for reminding me of that. Your description is perfect.
God bless the people of Iraq and may he hold them in his hand and protect them.
God bless the warriors of freedom.
That is what is go great about this forum, there are people all over with poetry and thoughts that just pop up on a night like this, and we can share them.
I'm glad you said that about Irvin and the Hall of Fame, the sports talk here is that the people in the Dallas area are in favor of it, but we don't know how much his reputation at that really bad time of his life would hurt his chances nationwide.
You go girl!
Evening NorCal, and don't forget Miramar Air Force Base. Oh yeah, and the USS Ronald Reagan (she's a beaut!) :)
(Shame on me!)
Ah yes, that's Geraldo's "bad ass" hat.
What possible difference does that possibly make to anyone except the Baathists, the Saddamites and all the other colaborating criminals in the Suni Triangle? They've had their day with Saddam in power for decades and they blew it!!!
Now it's finally time for the shiites or kurds to hold power for a change! Why does the media feel they must ALWAYS "comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable," even when the coming shift hasn't even quite happened yet???
Rhetorical question, I know, but we all know it's because they have always wanted this to be another Vietnam style disgrace to the USA, even though we never really lost that conflict either, except in the media with Walter Crankase, Dan Rather's predecessor.
They are obsessed with proving that military force cannot spread peace and they struggle on completely 180 degrees out of phase with the truth!
Freedom of press; Freedom to vote; Freedom to vote with your money... All these freedoms are brought to people and upheld by the US Military around this planet AND EVERYBODY KNOWS IT BUT THE LEFTIST MEDIA!!!
This time we all need to add to the egg on their faces!!!
No! He kept flubbing his lines! And he was doing it right into the cam we were watching! LOL! It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
"1-2-3 This is Richard Engel in Dagbhad...darn, do it again."
**flip hair, check lips***
"1-2-3..This is...".
Over and over and over again! I think we counted 15 takes one night. Funny stuff.
Oh, to be a fly on the wall of THAT meeting room...
I think Alawi looks upon Kerry as a bit of a coward, and considering what Alawi has been through in the past and will have to face in the future, he holds Kerry in great contempt.
(Is he too big to huddle? ;o)
LOL I love that cartoon.
You would think Geraldo would know by now don't give coordinates or landmarks. The guy is just not warzone material. But you have to love him for having the guts to venture into danger.
He just needs a big sign that says 'bring it on'.
That is too funny.
please stop.....you are making me cry again.....I hope that somehow the Iraqi people find out how hard we are praying, how many of us are staying up late into the night crossing our fingers and asking God to help them, to help our troops and let the blossoms of democracy bloom in the myriad of colors of freedom
Hope his insight on Iraq is better than his judgment regarding MJ's character.
