It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
Uh, excuse me, Shep, but with all due respect to Iraq, the US has several million more citizens. I think our 63% dwarfs their 72% in real numbers.
British C-130 transport is down ...crashed north of Baghdad near Balad.
I missed Shep. I've been switching back and forth trying to get an update on the Spain incident. 95% would be awesome.
And true to form, they cannot rejoice in Iraq's freedom. Instead, they malign the President, the soldiers, and claim every single report coming out of Iraq is false. Thoses people are really pathetic losers.
Fox News Alert: British C-130 crashed in Northern Iraq.
Spoiled brats who don't give a damn about those people who died so they could live free.
No details? Hope it was empty...
On Friday I bet all students in all three of my classes a dime each that the turnout would be over 60%. Not one student took me up on the bet. Even the lefties know what's coming down.Very cool!
This stupid Lib that goes to the same Bally's where I workout was VERY skeptical when I expressed my opinion.
He asked me 2 weeks ago or so if I thought the elections in Iraq would be successful. I told him "HE** yes, they would. Didn't Bush say they were going on as scheduled? When will you Libs ever get that straight, huh?"
I few in a few expletives not in that quote, too! haha!
"LOL! He's under the delusion Iraqi judges are appointed by Democrats. The curfew begins at 7:00 PM so there's no chance of an extension. Every one who could vote will have voted by then and those who haven't are simply out of luck."
Think of this from the confused Libs...they said we could not, should not and would not have the election today, and even if we did(contradiction right there) it would be worthless, invalid, etc.
But if someone did not get to vote before the curfew, they will complain that those who didn't get to vote in the election that could not, should not and would not be held today and would be invalid even if it were held, have now rendered the election null and void.
I know, I know, I couldn't follow this tortured trail as I wrote this, but you know what I mean...
