I haven't seen "Monster's Ball", but from what I've seen of Halle Berry's acting, I'm haven't been too impressed.
More importantly, they gave thier lifetime achievement awards that night to an actor specifically because he was pioneer for black actors. While this is a good basis for a lifetime achievement award in of itself, when you give the first best actor/ best actress awards to a black actor/actress the very same night, it surpasses my capacity to believe in coincidence.
She certainly is. Halle is gorgeous and a good actress IMO.
Since some racists - including the black kind (or perhaps it's more accurate just to call them black commies since race isn't the real issue) - co-opted the (last and hardly used) Confed battle flag as their own, many are turning to the real nat'l flag that lasted the whole war+....to get away from this nonsense...

He's one of the good guys. He is a regular columnist for The Baltimore Sun and I often agree with his points of view. He's big on personal responsibility, which is a rare stance indeed in Baltimore.
Well, she was one of the worst Bond Girls, and that's saying something. She made me cringe almost as much as that airhead who played "Christmas Jones" in Tomorrow Never Dies.
Sorry that I can't comment on how she acted in any chick flicks, but in the ultimate guy flick, she stunk!

I doubt if her dad was 100% black---kindof like Tiger Woods---he is more Asian than Black--he even looks more Asian but he is considered Black.

I don't care for the movies she's been in since winning. I wonder if it's due to bad scripts or because movies have been in horrible decline lately. I did like her as Storm in X Men.

I was invited to sit on a few 'diversity' roundtables in my day. I can tell you that democrat liberals are the most obsessed racial beancounters you'll ever come across.
I thought Berry was deserving of the Oscar. She played a poor woman, without the usual glamor and make up seen in many of these roles. She displayed a wide range of emotion, strength, and even dependency once she formed a relationship with Billy Bob. He scenes with her son and in the diner were realistic to my experience. I think her performance was worthy.

The fact that the writer didn't mention that it was Democrat govenors who returned the confederate flag to prominence is a good indication that the man is not a conservative.
