GOP Says It Found 300 Illegal Votes
Seattle Times ^ | 1/27/5 | David Postman

TUKWILA — The state Republican Party said in court papers filed yesterday that it has found 300 illegal votes and more than 400 that can't be verified in the governor's election.

With Christine Gregoire winning the governor's race by 129 votes, Republican Party Chairman Chris Vance says he now has found far more than enough evidence to persuade a judge to nullify the election and call for a rematch between Gregoire and Republican Dino Rossi.

Lawyers and Republican staffers are continuing to look county by county for votes cast by felons, in the name of dead people or by people who voted more than once, casting second votes either in other counties or other states.

"I expect this number to literally grow every day," Vance said.

Democrats are unconcerned. Their attorneys have argued that Republicans should have challenged improperly registered voters before the election.

Republicans have identified 240 felons who voted illegally. Party workers have been comparing the state's criminal-history database from the State Patrol to a list of voters kept by the Office of the Secretary of State.

The bulk of those are in King County. Vance said there appears to be so many felons who voted in the county that "we will probably never get to the bottom of this list."

He also said the party has identified 44 votes cast under the name of dead people, 10 voters who voted twice in the state and six who voted here and in another state.

Vance claimed the Republicans had found 737 illegal votes, but 437 of those are mishandled provisional ballots. Those ballots were supposed to be kept separate on Election Day but instead were put in counting machines without being verified. The party has not released the names of the people they say cast illegal votes — such as felons and double voters — but it will have to do that before a trial begins.

Yesterday, Republican lawyers filed their responses to Democratic Party motions to have the case dismissed. Republicans dispute the Democrats' arguments that the Legislature, not the court, should hear the dispute and that the court doesn't have authority to call for a new election.

Republicans also argue that they don't need to show which candidate got the illegal votes, only that there were enough to cloud the results.

But Democratic Party spokeswoman Kirstin Brost said, "There's no proof that Dino Rossi won the election, and that's what you need to show."

Duh, Kirstin, if Rossi "lost" the election by 129 votes and it's been proven that 300 illegal votes were cast then Rossi wins! Pure and simple, hands down! This is too simple for dems to understand since they think they've dumbed down everyone in this country.... Wrong!

What about votes cast by illegal aliens and other non-citizens?

I don't know why, but this fiasco in WA state reminds me of Huey Long...Joe Kennedy...Richard Daley...etc. Oh, and I forgot, the boys in E. St. Louis and Milwaukee too.

Odd how they all seem to be democRATs.

Congress needs to make voter fraud in a federal election and act of terrorism with big fines, jail sentences and loss of citizenship in major incidences along with seizure of personal property and real estate of those who are guilty of voter fraud.

The Democrats would accuse you of being a terrorist for voicing such sentiments. That's nothing less than a scurrilous direct attack on their way of politics, designed to unfairly discriminate against their legitimate claim to unfettered power.

VOTE SUPPRESSION!

There is an important point that all of us are missing here.

Constitutional rights come in two catagories. One for the left and one for everyone else. Now class, which catagory has more rights? Yep. Now you understand why we have no business complaining.

Conservatives are second class citizens (and rightly so, being inferior beings). The sooner you understand that, the better you will get along with our natural rulers & stop impeding their divine will.

It appears that the only way the rats can win elections outside of the inner cities they control is via voter fraud.

Even the so called winners in those inner cities like Seattle are probably due to voter fraud.

There are many who suspect the U.S. Senate race between Slade Gorton and Maria Cantwell was decided by voter fraud. It would be interesting to put that election under the microscope to reveal the extent of vote manipulation that was employed.

I checked out that Lenin monstrosity one day, it is off balance, top heavy and toward the front. The city of Seattle anchored it at the rear base by insufficient bolts. Some fine day an earth quake or C4, will set it right on its face!

These guys have been cheating for years without getting caught. The armatures and imitators are the ones who are getting caught this time. Exposing the big players is what we needs to happen. This will take somebody brave enough, a whistle blower, to come forward with information on the rats.

"There's no proof that Dino Rossi won the election, and that's what you need to show."

Then there is also no proof that Dino Rossi lost the election. Now connect the dots and we find that who won the election? (Answer: there is no proof of any winner)

What year was Cantwell elected?

We had massive voter fraud in California during the Clintoon years.

Voter fraud is a long and proud tradition of the rats. One wonders how many elections last century and this century where their candidates won, if it voter fraud was part of it.

Wow! That's little over the top, no?

A 'better' solution (IMHO) is to just shoot them for Sedition and/or TREASON - after a trial naturally (very short one), THEN seize their property. Your way is way too labor intense and time consuming :-)
