Sen. EVAN BAYH...DEM/Indiana joins Boxer, et al.
Posted on 01/25/2005 9:29:12 AM PST by Grendel9
"I rise to oppose the confirmation of Ms. RIce... too many mistakes she was in part responsible for... dismissed Iraq army now firing on our troops... dismissed Bathists who now oppose us..."
He's now harping on Bush as a leader failing in Iraq...[he] "will not give accoutability, so we in Congress must do it for him."
But then, we know Bayh has personal ambitions, too.

I gotta agree with other Hoosiers here. Bayh did a few good things in the past (like sponsoring the president's Iraq War resolution in the Senate). But he's done a lot more that's harmful, and now he's gone way off into the fringes of the left.

He is our biggest threat. Bayh would carry Indiana. With Richardson as V.P they would also carry N.M. That's two Red states turning blue.

dismissed Iraq army now firing on our troops... Senator? Hello, Senator Bayh? The Iraq army is not now firing on US troops. Does truth matter at all to Democrats?
To: conservativeammom

He's hugely popular here. Just won re-election with over 60% of the vote.
To: Grendel9
He and Lieberman were the only DemocRATs for whom I even had the slightest bit of respect. Slightest. What an *ss.

What's the current vote tally?
To: Grendel9
To see Kennedy wail on about "credibility" and "integrity" makes me so sick...it has been 36 years since Chappaquiddick...will ANY Senator EVER have the guts to slam The Swimmer IN PUBLIC for what he did that night, and how he should be ashamed for trying to impugn the integrity of others?
To: RasterMaster
Bayh and his poppa are low-life scum Poppa bayh was sandblasted by Dan Quayle in 80 by 54% to 46%.

Senator Bahy did he ever last year state "dismissed Iraq army now firing on our troops... dismissed Bathists who now oppose us..." was a wrong decision or is he just using hind sight, which is always perfect? As a matter of fact did any of the Democrats correctly warn of anything related to Iraq before it happened?

Is New Mexico really a "red" state? It went for Clinton twice and for Gore in 2000. This year was an exception because of the War and Moral Values...it was these issues that made Iowa go red for the first time since 1984.
