Sen. EVAN BAYH...DEM/Indiana joins Boxer, et al.
Posted on 01/25/2005 9:29:12 AM PST by Grendel9
"I rise to oppose the confirmation of Ms. RIce... too many mistakes she was in part responsible for... dismissed Iraq army now firing on our troops... dismissed Bathists who now oppose us..."
He's now harping on Bush as a leader failing in Iraq...[he] "will not give accoutability, so we in Congress must do it for him."
But then, we know Bayh has personal ambitions, too.

And he has been considered one of the reasonable, moderate democrats. This is the picture of the future. Except Hillary, of course, who is moving to the middle. Interesting to see what she does with Dr. Rice's nomination.

But then, we know Bayh has personal ambitions, too. Hmmm. I allways pegged him as a standup guy. Just shows that politics can corrupt anyone.

I'd say he just ruined his future. Not with the Dimms...but, with America.

My grandparents don't like him at all, but they like Lugar. what is Evin's popularity like in Indiana, and how did he get into office there?

I guess that's his way of declaring that he's a candidate for president.
To: WildTurkey
I always pegged him as a standup guy.No matter how reasonable he may sound at times, if he were truly a "stand up guy", he wouldn't be a member of the Democratic Party. It's as simple as that.
To: wrathof59
Mine too. Guess I'll have to send another email.
