MILWAUKEE — The sons of a first-term congresswoman and Milwaukee's former acting mayor were among five Democratic activists charged Monday with slashing the tires of vans rented by Republicans to drive voters and monitors to the polls on Election Day.
Sowande Omokunde, son of Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., and Michael Pratt, the son of former Milwaukee acting mayor Marvin Pratt, were among those charged with criminal damage to property, a felony that carries a maximum punishment of 3 1/2 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The activists are accused of flattening the tires on 25 vehicles rented by the state Republican Party to get out the vote and deliver poll watchers Nov. 2.

Their defense will probably ask for a dismissal since the number of people that would have rode in those vans that day were not enough to change the outcome of the election.
But the number of people that registered on the same day of the election and could not or have not been verified (yet their votes were counted anyway) would have changed the outcome of Wisconsin and would have made Ohio irrelevant.
Notice Sowande's dad is named Moore ... and his friend is named Mohammed.
They were not just tires that got slashed. Those tires had civil rights. Throw the book at 'em...and more!

It wasn't just tires. It was a blatant attempt to prevent the GOP from getting people to the polls.
ACTUALLY THESE BRATS ARE GROWN UP ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER - APPROX 25-28. WE HERE IN MILWAUKEE FEARED THEY WOULDN'T EVEN BE CHARGED. I REMEMBER WHEN IT HAPPENED AS I WAS WORKING THE POLLS. IRONICALLY SOME OF THE POLL MONITORS WERE KERRY SUPPORTERS AND THEY HAD TO WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT FOR RIDES. IT REALLY WAS SAD, CONFUSED THE ENTIRE ELECTION MORNING CREW.
THE LOCAL CONSERVATIVE TALK RADIO IS MAKING IT THEIR MISSION TO MAKE SURE THEY DO JAIL TIME. IF YOU READ THE COMPLAINT, I GUESS IT SAYS THAT THE IDIOTS CELL PHONES SHOWED WHERE EACH OF THEM WERE AT ALL TIMES, AND THAT ONE OF THEM TOOK A PEE TO DISTRACT THE SECURITY GUARD. IT SURE DID, ENOUGH SO THAT SOMEONE WAS ABLE TO GET THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER OF THE CAR DRIVING AWAY. NOT TOO BRIGHT!
GWEN MOORE IS A FORMER SINGLE PARENT WHO WAS ON WELFARE AND THEN WENT ON TO LAW SCHOOL, PAID BY US OF COURSE. IT SEEMS HER PARENTING SKILLS DON'T LEAVE MUCH TO BE DESIRED.
The indoctrination of RAT young starts early. Hopefully a felony conviction will keep them from ever pursuing public office.
