It can't be too bad when you can still see the first floor of the houses! (from an Alaskan's point of view anyway!)

How sad, Joe.

Five degrees here this morning.

I just heard a radio news brief about Global Warming and laughed my butt off!

Tell it to the folks digging out their lives in half the US.

There's something strange about that pic. It looks like the houses are sitting on some type of ledge. The bottom edge doesn't blwns with the yard, etc., at the house on the left. It just appears as if it's a lot of land and houses sitting on a ledge, which would make it more like a painting, than real homes. Maybe someone can explain.

They're houses on a peninsula, right on the water. I think that's a bulkhead in front.

Nothing more pathetic than a Jew with a hammer.

Hmmmm...THAT was quite a statement. LOL

Anyway, be nice to yourself and call the insurance people. They're supposed to pay for stuff like this. Right?

It is really hard to tell how much snow you really got because the wind piled it wildly all over the place.

My dog is annoyed by all this snow. She usually loves the snow, but she doesn't enjoy swimming through it!

Not much snow to be seen, I would call that a Ice Storm not a blizzard.

I'm from back east but live in Texas now but I sure miss the sound of a good old blizzard. My dad had a snow remover. Me! But I loved it. LOL
