The Brits have truly lost it. They can't stand the notion that anyone could possibly be happy with life, so they create crapola like this.

Another article in the Telegraph Online is a Chicken-Little effort to scare people into the global warming nonsense. They have "politicians, business leaders and leading scientists" all proclaiming that we are less than 10 years away from "global warming" because of a reported "2 degree C" rise in temperature on the earth.

Of course, as we know, the actual fact that there has been NO increase in temperature recorded since the mid-20th century doesn't make a dent in these folks' pea-brains. They're going to run around crying that the sky is falling.

This is getting fun. Y'all have a great "Most Miserable Day" of the year.

This may be true if one lives as close to the Artic Circle as GB. Rotters.

Oh, I don't know. I tend to agree that some times of the year are less eagerly anticipated than others. For me, late January is the new year's Monday. I think a lot of people hold that view.

I also think the best way to change this general perception would be to launch an new informal holiday and celebrate it every January 24th.
