I hear you on that. I wasn't crazy about the call, but I'm not going to "complain" about it either. But, I will never forgive, and I was posting this same sentiment on threads the morning after the game, I will never forgive kicking that field goal on 4th down. It killed nearly any chance to win that game, imo.
But your comments on strategy, I hear you.
I must tell you, I've read dozens of your posts, and you are one even-minded, well-thinking guy.
How about that election in Iraq, btw. Ted Kennedy is throwing up in the sink watching the news today.
;-)
He was going to be doing that anyway...I think it's a routine part of his wake up call.
But, a good point. Some really GREAT stuff happening today. The prez was brief and grrrreat!
dims, msm and euroweeners have got to be on suicide watch.
I'll complain about the call, but I won't call for Cowher's job over it. Common mistakes are common mistakes for a reason.
I do what I can, one of the things that makes football great is the opportunity for over analysis and second guessing.
The Iraqi elections are a wonderous thing, they make me very proud to be an American for what little I've contributed (mostly through tax dollars) to this goal, and I think every Iraqi should be extremely proud of this day. Best media week in Superbowl history and whoever looked at the schedule and decided to put the election this weekend was damned smart.
