Gahhh! I can't take it anymore! Start the game!!

True but the fact that it happened during Ben's first NFL playoff game raised my eyebrow. Tonight will be the true test I suppose.

Dome teams always fall flat in cold weather.
Now we have two open-air teams playing in cold weather. We should see a much more competitive game. Edge to the Pats because New England is chillier than Pittsburgh (though not by a whole lot.

Swann was last ballot 11 years before finally being inducted into the hall. HOF votes always gave the same reason: he just doesn't have the stats. He got ot the last ballot on hilight footage and kept getting rejected by stats. The team's center got into the HOF before he did. Stats matter, and stats tell the story, TB wasn't a very good passing QB.

The two best teams? Where are the Colts?
To: TheRatHunter
Agreed. Brady is more experienced, and one helluva quarterback, but the Steelers' offense is great as well, and their defense is second-to-none. I'll tip my horns to the Iggles, but their going to get their asses barbequed in molasses next week, regardless of whether it's the Steelers or the Patriots. LMAO

There's definitely rookie pressure on Roeth, but hopefully he can overcome it. All he needs to remember is he's beaten them before. Forget about all the crap about who was injured or not, he can get the job done if he stays peak.

Yep, totally agree with you. I can remember when the NFC East was a total powerhouse, bar none. Sitting here in Allentown PA, fireworks blasting all around me, but I am cheering for the Steelers, much better team.

Of course stats matter. But winning 4 SBs matters as well. Which is why Swann finally got in. Had he not won any he would not have even made the ballot.

The Colts are gone. Bye-bye!
Colts = Manning. Manning = Colts. I am sick of Manning, and glad your Pats whooped him.

Yeah - I think Ben had Big Game jitters. But he pulled it out, so I bet he's a lot looser going into tonight's game. I'm sure he's still got butterflies in his gut (he'd better), but I bet they're not flying in formation this time. LOL

well, you're QB rating is always legit ... it just doesn't qualify you for any awards until you reach a certain level of attempts. Just like a September call-up who goes 2-4 bats .500 for the season but doesn't win the batting title.
