I hope that "idiots" comment was not directed at me.
You posted a silly message about "Dairy of an Eagles Hater" - I just fed it back to you. As a life-long Redskins fan, I am forced to do this.
The Eagles have a long history of losing the big game (see "choke"). Not many other teams (save the Vikings and the Bills) have this kind of a record.
Speaking of the "St. Louis flash in the pan" - St. Louis won two Superbowls. The Eagles have won zero. Didn't the Eagles lose the NFC Championship to that "flash in a the pan" in 2002 - BTW: Flash in the Pan did "Hey St. Peter"
We shall see.
Even if the Eagles when, they will have a long way to go to reach the level of great teams, like the Washington Redskins, when it come to Superbowl wins.
Eagle fans attacked Santa Claus, maybe the God's have cursed them.
:-)
No - you crack me up. Eagles - clean hit - that's a good one.
The Pats will be just fine as long as they don't dress up as Santa Claus.
We'll see. Glad I was able to amuse.
Sit down no-no. (That's Flash AND the Pan)
What doesn't amuse me is Brady's ability to get rid of the ball in microseconds.(;>)
I knew that
Did you know the older brother of Angus Young(guitarist for AC/DC) was in Flash and the Pan (George Young) - and also the Easybeats
No, I did not. That's almost mindblowing. I don't know why but I always thought Flash was a U.S. group. Of course, it's been 25 years since I've heard them.
and presumably you expect people to take you seriously?
or maybe brian dawkins hit alge crumpler so hard, YOU lost YOUR memory just watching it.
ummm... no.
Didn't the Eagles lose the NFC Championship to that "flash in a the pan" in 2002
only a foreskins fan could fault a team one year removed from 5-11 for losing a conference championship game to an eventual champion.
did your team of overpaid superstars enjoy watching on ordinary TV that year as much as they're enjoying it on HDTV this year?
Eagle fans attacked Santa Claus
if you know the real story, you're a jackass for ignoring facts, and if you don't, you're not worth dealing with.
and yes, the idiot comment WAS directed at you. enjoy the NFL draft this year - I'll be tuning in a lot later than you will.
Its called levity.
Chill out.
Penis jokes. Is that the best you got?
could fault a team one year removed from 5-11 for losing a conference championship game to an eventual champion.
Oh no. The Eagles lost the NFC Championship THREE YEARS IN A ROW.
did your team of overpaid superstars enjoy watching on ordinary TV that year as much as they're enjoying it on HDTV this year?
Say what? No, it was sad watching the Eagles get so close and choke. Poor guys.
if you know the real story, you're a jackass for ignoring facts, and if you don't, you're not worth dealing with.
FACT: Philly fans booed and threw snowballs at Santa - since then they have never won a championship. Can you say curse? The real story - oh you mean the way the first team in Football to have jail cells in their stadium tried to spin the story. BTW: grow a sense of humor Mr. Nasty Man.
and yes, the idiot comment WAS directed at you. enjoy the NFL draft this year - I'll be tuning in a lot later than you will.
Maybe by then you will be over the Eagles loss.
a little late to the party, aren't you? and no excuse, either - it's not like you had a redskins game to watch recently.
find that second st louis rams super bowl yet?
*rolls eyes*
What's this us crap? Are you schizophrenic?
a little late to the party, aren't you? and no excuse, either - it's not like you had a redskins game to watch recently.
How many superbowl wins do the Redskins have? How many do the Eagles? Nuff said, seems you are the one that has been missing out on all the parties over the years.
find that second st louis rams super bowl yet?
Yes Bozo: The St Louis Rams were in the Superbowl in 2000 and 2002. In your zeal to be insulting you made a fool out of yourself. The Rams were in two Superbowls (HINT: I said they WON two and that was the error - not that they had been in two Superbowl). People like you make the Eagles defeats sweat.
*rolls eyes*
When you are done rolling your eyes, tell us again how many Superbowl you think the St. Louis Rams were in...
teehee
It is wild to watch him look left...left...left and then snap his head to the right and whip off a bullet to the receiver he knew he was going to throw to the whole time...in 3 seconds. Marino used to do that and he was the best at it.
During his first season, Brady had a habit of staring right at his target before releasing. He's learned a lot.
That 60 yard rocket he threw to Branch for a TD against Pittsburgh was amazing. I had a mouthful of beef stew and almost choked on it as I watched him release that ball. It was just...incredible.
--- what do you mean to indicate by "play"? Make an appearance?? The final result of his time on the field only ends up being a decoy?? What do you mean by play? Catch six to ten passes?? As the old philosopher said, "Define your terms."
Yeh, maybe they are marked forever! That was a bad move on the part of those fans. Even we rough and ready Steeler fans were appalled at that nastiness!
How can Pliladelphia exorcise that??? Better hurry up!
OOOOH! You're sticking that knife in pretty deep on that guy. You have a biting wit, young fellow! ;-)
Boo birds -- Eagles fans have built a reputation through the years. A Philadelphia crowd once booed Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin as he was lying hurt and motionless on the field. Heck, Philly fans once even taunted Santa Claus.
But Terry Larimer, sports editor of the Allentown Morning Call, said the coarse reputation is not entirely deserved.
"They did boo Michael Irvin, but the story about the crowd booing Santa Claus is a bit off-kilter," said Larimer, who was the newspaper's Eagles beat writer for 12 years before taking his current job. "That Santa was a big drunk and he was making a fool of himself. So the crowd was booing the actions of that Santa in particular.
LOL! That "rocket to Branch" made me drink four beers in the next 15 minutes! -- A lifelong Pittsburgher and Steeler Fan.
;-)
I feel your pain ;-)
I really don't care who wins, but the Super Bowl score will be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,New England 45 - Philidelphia 13.
If I'm wrong, I guarantee I won't lose a bit of sleep over it.
