They're playing their best football at just the right time.

The credit for that goes to Belicheck and Brady.

They are just a winning machine with preparation, the Iggles better come with some trick plays or something new!

I'd advise against any trick plays. The Patriots defense is very disciplined and if the Eagles try a reverse they'll probably wind up losing ten yards on the play. If Philly is going to win their defense has to play well.

I think the Eagles are content with winning the NFC Championship game - they don't have the hunger that the Patriots have when it comes to winning the SB.

New England is on the cusp of history, and it will not be denied.

For proof of Philly complacency, just look at the flash intro to their website.

Id try running McNabb for a while to open up the passing lanes, then try and pick apart the corners.

Other than that, prayer is good.

I suspect if the Pats hadn't been to a Super Bowl since the first days of the Reagan administration we'd be pretty excited as well. Having said that I think the Pats experience will give them another advantage.

I think the Pats are going to keep McNabb in the pocket and make the Philly receivers prove they can get open. If they can then the Patriots will adjust.

Ohh sure... I agree completely.

Had there been an internet in 1986, we'd of had the same celebratory webpages.

But just like the Bears back then, the Pats are completely focused on closing the deal (actually moreso - we aren't doing any "superbowl shuffling").

I had absolutely no doubt in my mind that the Patriots had no shot at winning that Super Bowl against Chicago.

You mean like McNabb completing a pass.

Didn't Edwards play for our man Chuck?

We had a decent player, Glenn Edwards, in the Noll era. I'm not sure about Herman though.

Owens will absolutely play

Yeh right, Doc!

;-)

If Owens shows up on the field it will be a mistake for him and his team.

But the entertainment value will drastically increase for the average viewer.

Didn't 'Hollywood Henderson' of the Cowboys try this one year (will.. I or wont I play)

f you're offering a truce, then I accept.

I like your spirit!

And, my 24 year old daughter who is now attending Pitt's medical school and looks a lot like Grace Kelly was down here when I looked up your profile page. I hate to say this, but if that's your picture there, she thinks you're rather cute.

Damn!

;-)

Tall (6' 4"). Poised. Doesn't get rattled. Smart. Focused. Reads coverages. Accurate passer. Comes through in big spots/big games. Is a gamer. Knows his limitations. Team leader. ----
