I can't keep track of these things. He played with Cowher in Philly, I knew he tied into Pitt somehow, forgot the chain.

The Iggles will need a lot of turnovers and to control the clock, that is the only was I see them winning.

I don't know about a LOT of turnovers, but they absolutely need to win the turnover battle, and absolutely not give the ball up in their own end.

Owens will absolutely play, but as I've said before, I think the Belichick/Weis/Reid/Johnson chess match will matter more than anything TO does or doesn't do.

if you're offering a truce, then I accept.

still can't believe you would have gone for it on 4th down though... :)

I agree. I think that they will need turnovers and mental mistakes by the Pats. Two things they do not do in the playoffs or the majority of the regular season.

Whenever they show the "Catch" against the Cowboys in the 1981 NFC championship game everyone focuses on Clark. I love watching Montana as he rolls out, pump fakes, and then puts the ball right where it needed to be. It was a huge play and Montana was just as calm and cool as he could be.

Yep--I always have watched Clark--now I will concentrate on Joe Cool. Thanks for the tip...

The Panthers would be in the SB right now minus all those injuries. No doubt in my mind. They almost made the playoffs with all their losses anyway. I was impressed they didn't give up on the season.

Brady was too skinny, was considered slow and not mobile, was considered to have a weak arm (so he wouldn't be able to throw it downfield with accuracy), his throws were too wobbly, and he couldn't improvise on the fly.

His positives (this is hilariously accurate):

Tall (6' 4"). Poised. Doesn't get rattled. Smart. Focused. Reads coverages. Accurate passer. Comes through in big spots/big games. Is a gamer. Knows his limitations. Team leader.

That's one, who is either not going to play in the SB or will be on limited duty and effectiveness.

The Eagles quite simply do not have premier recevierS, until this season they had none and this season they got one who got hurt.

Although it would be amusing to see what TO does if he scores in the Super Bowl..

The Pats were beatable earlier in the year. Probably not now

Also from that 2000 draft, the Pats drafted Patrick Pass in the 7th-- who ESPN guru Mel Kiper thought wasn't good enough to be drafted, and Pass gave us 356 yards of offense this year.

I loved it when he one hopped the first pitch at that Sox-Yankees game in July just before the Dem convention.

LOL! And The Pompous One, John 'Effin Shove It I Don't Fall Down Jacques Strap' Kerry wasn't even throwing from the rubber!!! LOL! What a stiff.

I don't think he was even on the mound at all! Wasn't right on the edge of the grass? So like 45Ft to the plate??! That's little league distance, and he bounced it from there!

Thank you and best of luck.

When it's all said and done, I must say I'm really going to enjoy watching Big Ben grow throughout his career. I guarantee that he'll win the Super Bowl before he retires.

That "pitch" was a PR disaster.
