ATL at PHI, Sat, 3:00 p.m. EST
NE at PIT, Sat, 6:30 p.m. EST
Was that necessary?...my imagination is fine, thank you...lol!
This is really the last stand here..
That just shows you the respect the networks had for the AFL at the time.
How did you get that shot of Michael Moore at home?
Pats got it!
They showed up today, put a lot of fight in even though they were down 21. It's never easy going against Belichick. As I said all week, there's only one coach in the league better than Belichick in the regular season, that's Belichick in the post. They got beat in the first half by game plan, whatever the Steelers were looking for the Pats did the opposite, that's SB winning coaching.
As I posted earlier, only George Halas lost more conference and league championship games than Tom Landry. Landry only won two Super Bowls.
Cowher is a damn good coach, in an era when it is difficult to be in the playoffs as often as the Steelers have since he took over.
Steeler fans should be grateful.
You looked a lot closer than I did.
First Down. That could be it. Well we were 6-10 last year so I have to be happy with the year.
Field goal could be returned for an opposition TD..
Going for it (and making it) on 4th and short -- what a concept...
34 New England Patriots
20 Pittsburgh Steelers
4th Quarter/4:24 left
That's actually the polite thing to do, time is more useful to the Pats than points, so it moves them closer to victory without running up the score.
"BELIEVE...":
--PATRIOTS--2/1/04
--RED SOX--10/27/04
--BUSH--11/2/04
--PATRIOTS again 2/6/05
Are you trying to seduce me? :-)
We still have the 2 minute warning and a potential onside kick left..
LOL
tick tick tick tick...POW! Touchdown.
TD BRANCH: "Jacksonville here they come"
Yes it does. I think after that game the networks changed their policy and now they always keep NFL football on the air until the end of the scheduled game in each region. They switch to other games if the scheduled game isn't close, but they stay with football in case there's a sudden dramatic comeback.
