He burned the clock against the Colts.
I don't think the Colts had the ball more than 3 minutes in the fourth quarter.
Btw, have you ever noticed Jim Robinson's face is on the Freeper Funny Money $100 bill?;-)
Yeah he handed off 6 times in the game against the Bills. Desperate messures just lead to worse defeat. Just look at how the Broncos lost the SB or 3 of the 4 Bills losses, desperate messures stink.
It was on one level, painful on another.
After that game, I knew the Oilers were done in Houston.
As an Aside... I love the "All kinds of time" commercial!
All of a sudden that Boston trophy case is getting somewhat full....
Got that right. Playing Ballhog.
Not that I think Roethlisberger isn't a good QB. But he's a rookie and he's going to make his share of rookie mistakes. I think he'll be around for a while.
The Patriots are going to come out in the second half not to run up the score but to run down the clock. Thus I see this game tightening up, which will excite the Pittsburgh crowd and give a lot of New Englanders watching at home heartburn. But Belichick knows what he's doing and should have things well in hand at this point, barring a total collapse by the Patriots.
What an embarassing day of football for the 'challengers'...Falcons and Vick choke and now the Steelers taking it on the chin??? What is up with this...I was hoping for some triple OT and some real close games...
Congrats to those who won and condolences to those who lost...
Pitchers and Catchers report in about three weeks I think>...
Cubs with shine in '05...er, "Cubs alive in '05"...that's better..LOL!
G
Yeah..
So much for the enviro-wacko picks.
0 for 2.
Thank you and you are so kind to remember my pick which I will remind everyone for as long as I live :)
This is the way I'm looking at it. With the stakes that we have, everybody wins. :-)
What's a little money between friends? BTW, who the hell are you?
True, but you take advantage of the breaks you get...
And the fact that they were at home really phased the Oilers. In the 90's, NOBODY could beat Buffalo at (then) Rich Stadium.
BTW, the week after that miracle comeback, Reich and the Bills went into Pittsburgh and dispatched the Steelers 24-3 (!) in one of Cowher's early home playoff losses.
The conference championship game is where coaching shows. In the NFC you had the best defensive coordinator in the league vs a rookie head coach. In the AFC you've got the best coach in the league against a rookie QB. The outcomes are actually rather predictable.
I am disappointed in the Falcons. However, I saw the writing on the wall in the Steelers performance against the terminally snakebit Jets.
Can they erase the curse?
Defense just came on strong, held the Pats to -6 yards on 3 plays. Good start.
A local freeper thing,never will work.Local bar maybe-Flukes?
