Just curious.

"Eruption" might make a good addition to TheBigB homepage. LOL If I remember correctly, Eddie Van Halen wrote "Eruption" on his wedding night with Valerie Bertinnuli

What have you killed in?A pretty little pink frock with floral patterns and a nice lacey fringe.
I'm such a pretty girl when I go on my manic killing sprees with the blood and the chainsaws and the running and the screaming.

...and EVEN before THAT. ;-) Really, L, I've never been. I truly am bonafide. I LOVED your column--fell off my chair howling, and bruised my bonafide rearex.

Petra paved the road in Christian "Rock" music for the bands that popular today. It's unfortunate that the Christian recording studios can't get any good producers. They might get some traction if their stuff didn't all sound so lame.
Petra's sound definately became mainstream with Schlitt (Anybody but me remember "There's Never Been Any Reason"? GREAT song.) but it had a more distinctive air with Volz.
Shalom.

Greg X. Volz's On Bended Knee is the best work he did! I've always liked "Waitin' on Someday."
Haven't you heard that it was done so long ago?
Shalom.

Mind if I start some silliness?
How about a difinitive light-bulb list?
Q: How many Californians does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: Californians don't screw in light bulbs, they screw in hot tubs.
Q: How many democrats does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: Democrats don't screw in light bulbs. They get Congress to pass a law to force other people to screw in their light bulbs.
Shalom.

That's a pretty funny story. More Power To Ya could generate similar incidents. The title song is very slow and melodic. Then after that soft, pleasant song is over, you get the backward masking (which at that time sounded very eerie and discomforting) followed by the rather heavy metal guitar opening for the driving song "Judas' Kiss".
