Time for a fashion critique. The president, of course, always looks gorgeous. Tuxes are good for him. The color of the first lady's dress is beautiful but in some shots the cut looks a little unflattering. It could be the lighting or something. In other shots, the cut of the dress looks great. Jenna looks gorgeous. That's a great color on her. Barbara's dress is beautiful but the color is really close to her skin tone. Okay, I'm done with my fashion critique. What does everyone else think?

Of them all, I think Laura looks stunning.

I agree on the color of Barbara's dress. Not as flattering as Jenna and her mother. Laura and Jenna look fabulous. Anyone notice from all the pics of yesterday, that Barbara isn't smiling too much???

Janna could use a good haircut. But they sure are lovely young ladies. My husband says they don't look enough alike to be twins! Janna has a naturally round face and Barbara is more of an oval face. That makes a difference.

Yes, I agree. Laura was stunning, and the dress was beautiful. I liked it better than the first inaugural gown. She looks much better in a v-neck than the round neck. I thought it was a little too form-fitting, though. I think a more draped or flowing dress would be more flattering.
The girls were lovely. Yes, Barbara's dress would have been prettier in a color. They looked better than usual. IMHO, the twins have always needed a better fashion consultant. In comparison, the Nixon girls were always nicely dressed, even in casual clothes. Yes, those were different times, I know.
This is not at all to say that I am a fashion expert, myself. Far from it. Also, I hate being catty...which I usually am not. I am just in agreement with you about these dresses.
