That's a great picture of W dancing with the servicewoman. I wonder if they explained to her ahead of time that he only knows three steps? :-)
Or maybe he knows 4 this year. There are a lot of pictures of him "dancing", but most reports say it was short dances. Not exactly his best talent.
I hope one day to be loved the way Laura is. You can just see it. She is absolutely radiant!
I was once. (He died.) and it is so special, it ruins you for any other man because you KNOW what you want.
There is nothing like it in this world - to be so cherished, so loved, so affirmed. I hope for both of us that we find it in 2005!!

We should have a widows support group here. Alot of us have gone through the same things. Sorry for your loss Truth. I lost my hubby of 30 years also.

Today on the live thread someone posted (after we had shared so many laughs and tears) how like family we freepers are......Sharing each other joys, lifting each other up.....Thought at the time....It's a bit like I imagine heaven to be, surrounded by loving, caring Christlike people.....
So happy to be a part of it. (and not Left behind)
Now I must get some sleep.....Goodnight fellow freepers....We've come to the end of a perfect day....God HAS blessed America.
While the lady dancing with the President is a soldier, the gentleman dancing with The First Lady, is no soldier, he's a US Marine!
Wonder why they aren't in their full dress uniforms for such a formal occasion, although such junior enlisted types sometimes don't *have* such a uniform, because they are very expensive. (The Marine would most likely have Dress Blues, but the Army lady would be less likely to have them).
And we're giving thanks to our God in heaven for giving us this great man and woman also the Vice President and his lady. Thanks, God!!!

Well .. FOX had Ceci Connelly doing her part to be obnoxious. Geeeeez .. everytime she opened her mouth, the only things she commented on were smarmy stuff about Bush.
I finally sent a msg to FOX and told them I was going over to C-SPAN. If I wanted smarmy comments from the left I could go to CBS.
C-SPAN's coverage of the swearing in and parade was the best - but I had to switch back to FOX to see more of the coverage of the party activities.
This has been a Wonderful day and evening.. The Pictures are the topping for us.. I am so proud of our First family..
But this one of Jenna is priceless.. She is precious..
