FBI Adds 10 Names to List in Boston Threat

WASHINGTON - The FBI (news - web sites) on Thursday added the names of 10 Chinese to the list of those being sought for questioning about a possible terror plot targeting Boston.
Two law enforcement officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation, said the names were part of the same anonymous tip that led authorities on Wednesday to announce that they are seeking to question four other Chinese and two Iraqis.
The officials said the tip remains uncorroborated and there is no credible evidence that such a plot exists.
It was unclear why all the names were not announced at the same time. The officials said there was no new information that led to the addition of the 10 names.
A third federal law enforcement official in Washington, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said the tip was received Wednesday by the California Highway Patrol. The tipster claimed the four Chinese two men and two women entered the United States from Mexico and were awaiting a shipment of "nuclear oxide" that would follow them to Boston.
The official said the nuclear oxide could be a reference to material used to make a "dirty bomb" that would spew radiation over a wide area.

On September 11, the day of the terrorist attacks, a group of Chinese government officials was in Kabul and concluded an agreement with the Taliban covering economic and technical assistance. This was just one of many agreements the Chinese reached with the Taliban. For example, according to U.S. intelligence officials, in December 1998 China had concluded another agreement with the Afghan regime after the Taliban had provided Beijing with an intelligence windfall: unexploded Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles that U.S. forces had launched during the Clinton administration's weak attempt to blow up al Qaeda terrorist camps following the August 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.
Chinese government officials vehemently deny their connections to terrorism. But bin Laden himself announced in August 2001 that there should be "good relations" between Taliban-ruled Afghanistan and China.
Intelligence reports obtained by the Pentagon in December 2001 revealed that China had supplied arms to al Qaeda after the September 11 terrorist attacks on America. Just a week after the attacks, the ruling Taliban and the al Qaeda fighters embedded among them took delivery of a shipment of Chinese-made surface-to-air missiles known as HN-5s, which was China's designation for the Soviet-design SA-7 missiles. So much for the Chinese government's claims to be cooperating with the United States in the global war on terrorism. In reality, the Chinese were and are playing a double game of pretentding to support U.S. goals while covertly undermining U.S. objectives in the war on terrorism and on other issues as well.
And look at Mexico. Someone destroyed it.
Thank you

Currently we are a nation of men, and unenforced laws. That is why America is dying. Only men and nations die lying down. Until we once again stand for the laws our Founders made we will suffer a long and very painful death.
